Why Choose Xbox Series X?
The Xbox Series X is Microsoft’s most powerful console, built for 4K gaming with fast load times and smooth performance. Buying one refurbished is a more affordable way onto the latest generation, and every console is tested and graded by our team so you know exactly what you are getting before it turns up. If you want to compare it against the rest of the range, the refurbished Xbox hub has every model in one place. Take a look at what is in stock below.
The Series X sits at the top of the Xbox range. It is the model to go for if you have a 4K TV and want the best-looking version of the latest games, with quick loading and room to store a big library. It plays the current generation of Xbox titles along with a huge back catalogue of older Xbox games, so there is plenty to get stuck into from day one.
Each console is fully tested, cleaned and graded before it goes on sale. You will see the grade on every listing, from A+ Pristine down through A Excellent, B Good and C Grade, so you can decide how much cosmetic wear you are happy with and pay accordingly. A lower grade performs exactly like a top one, it just carries a few more marks from its previous life.
If you want the same generation for less, the smaller refurbished Xbox Series S is worth a look, and if you are happy with an older machine and a lower price, the refurbished Xbox One range still plays a big library. You can also weigh it up against the refurbished PS5 if you are deciding between the two.
Buying refurbished rather than new saves you money and keeps a good console in use rather than sitting in a drawer. One of our team games on a Series X at home, so the consoles that leave us are ones we are happy to use ourselves.
FAQs
What is the difference between the Xbox Series X and Series S?
The Series X is the more powerful console, built for 4K TVs with more storage and the best performance. The Xbox Series S is smaller and cheaper, aimed at 1440p and digital-only gaming. Both play the same current generation of games, so the choice comes down to your TV, your storage needs and your budget.
Can the Xbox Series X play older Xbox games?
Yes. The Series X is backward compatible with a large library of Xbox One, Xbox 360 and original Xbox games, so you can bring plenty of your existing collection across. Many older titles also run better on the Series X than they did on the original hardware.
Is a refurbished Xbox Series X worth buying?
Yes, if you want the latest generation for less than a new one. You get the same console and the same performance, checked over and tested before sale, for a lower price. It is also the greener choice, since it keeps a working console in circulation.
What condition will a refurbished Xbox Series X be in?
Each console is graded so there are no surprises. A+ Pristine looks close to new, A Excellent has very light wear, B Good shows some visible marks, and C Grade carries more noticeable signs of use. Whichever grade you choose, the console has been fully tested and works the same. The grade only reflects how it looks.
Does a refurbished Xbox Series X come with a warranty?
Yes, every console is covered by our warranty and returns are straightforward if anything is not right. The exact cover is confirmed at checkout.
