Why buy a refurbished MacBook Air?

You get the same light, portable laptop for a good deal less than new. Because each one is tested and graded before it is listed, a refurbished Air is a low risk way to buy, and it keeps a working machine out of landfill.

What do the grades mean?

A+ Pristine looks close to new. A Excellent has only light signs of use. B Good carries a few more marks you might notice up close. C Average shows the most wear and is priced the lowest. All four are fully working and covered the same way.

Which MacBook Air should I choose?

For everyday use on a tighter budget an older model does the job. For something that stays current longer, look at the M1 range, or the M2 range if you want the newer of the two.

Is the MacBook Air powerful enough for everyday work?

For most people, yes. The Air handles browsing, writing, study and general office work comfortably, which is exactly what it is built for. If you do a lot of heavier editing, the MacBook Pro is worth a look instead.

Does the battery hold up on a refurbished MacBook Air?

Battery health is part of our testing, so you are not buying blind. If a battery is not up to scratch the machine does not go out for sale.

Do refurbished MacBook Airs still get macOS updates?

Yes. They run macOS as normal and keep getting updates for as long as Apple supports the model, the same as a new one would.
