iPhone 12 vs iPhone 11
If you are weighing up the iPhone 11 against the 12, the step up is a meaningful one.
The iPhone 12 moves to a Super Retina XDR OLED display, where the iPhone 11 used an LCD screen, so colours are richer and blacks are deeper. Under the hood, the A14 Bionic chip is faster and more efficient than the iPhone 11’s A13. You also get 5G, which the iPhone 11 does not have, along with a tougher Ceramic Shield front, the more modern flat edged design and MagSafe.
Cameras are closely matched, but the iPhone 12 adds Night mode to the Ultra Wide lens and Dolby Vision video. If you want the newer look, the OLED screen and 5G, the 12 is well worth the small jump up. If outright value matters most, the iPhone 11 is still a great choice.
