Games Console — Setup & data transfer

Welcome to your refurbished games console. Here’s how to get up and running.

First-time setup

Plug in your console and switch on the power at the socket.
Power on and choose your language and region.
Connect to Wi-Fi.
Install any available software updates.

Account, updates & controller

Sign in or create your console account, install the latest system update, pair your controller, then download your library:

PlayStation: sign in to PSN and set this as your Console Sharing and Offline Play (primary) console; restore licences if downloads won’t start.
Xbox: sign in with your Microsoft account and set this as your Home Xbox to share games and Game Pass offline.
Nintendo Switch: link your Nintendo Account, and use System Transfer to move your profile and saves from another Switch.

Tip: Turn on automatic updates while you’re in setup.
