Last week, The iOutlet was officially shortlisted at the Mobile News Awards 2026 in three categories:
The shortlist was selected from a record 124 entries, making this year one of the most competitive yet. To be recognised across multiple categories is something we don’t take lightly.
What This Says About the Industry
This year’s shortlist highlights just how much the mobile industry is changing.
There has been a noticeable rise in entries across refurbishment, trade in and secondary market services. Circular economy businesses featured heavily across the awards, showing that lifecycle services are no longer a niche part of the industry. They are becoming central to it.
As a business built around refurbished devices, trade ins and extending the life of tech, it’s encouraging to see that shift being recognised at industry level.
“Our sector – refurbished tech – plays a key role in the growth of the circular economy so for us to be helping to drive that is something we take a lot of pride in too. We are looking to forward to the awards now and seeing how we do on the night.”
Recognition Across Retail and Refurbishment
Being shortlisted for Online Retailer and Mobile Retailer reflects the experience we aim to give customers every day, whether they are buying refurbished, selling their device or simply browsing for their next upgrade.
Our place in the Refurbishment Programme category is particularly meaningful. Every device that leaves us has been properly tested, clearly graded and prepared by our expert team. A lot of work goes into making sure customers receive something they can rely on.
Looking Ahead
The awards ceremony will take place in London later this month, and we’re looking forward to attending alongside others in the industry who are helping shape the future of mobile retail and circular services.
