2. Prepare your device
- Back up anything you want to keep.
- Sign out of all accounts and remove locks — see Unlocking & device locks. We can’t complete a sale on a device that’s still locked.
- Erase the device and remove your SIM and any case.
For your MacBook specifically:
- Sign out of iCloud, iMessage and Find My.
- On Apple Silicon / T2 Macs, use System Settings → General → Transfer or Reset → Erase All Content and Settings.
3. Send it in & get paid
Send your MacBook using the instructions provided and keep your proof of postage. We pay once it’s inspected.
