Welcome to your refurbished iPhone. Here’s how to get up and running.
First-time setup
- Charge the iPhone before first use.
- Power on and choose your language and region.
- Connect to Wi-Fi.
- Sign in with your account (or create one), then choose to restore from a backup or set up as new.
- Install any available software updates.
Move your data across
- Quick Start: bring your old Apple device next to the new one and follow the prompts to transfer directly.
- From a backup: restore from an iCloud backup during setup, or from a computer (Finder/iTunes).
SIM / eSIM & Face ID
Insert your SIM or set up an eSIM with your network — your number transfers across. Then set up Face ID and a passcode in Settings.
Tip: Turn on automatic updates and set up biometrics (Face ID / Touch ID / fingerprint) while you’re in setup.
