How long is my warranty and what does it cover?

iPhone's will have 12 months warranty with iPad's having 6 months.  We have terms and conditions of what is and isn't covered.  This can be found here.

What's the difference between unlocked and jailbroken?

Jailbroken is an unofficial unlock and involves changing the software for a non Apple version. This means there is no support from Apple and if it goes wrong it will more or less be the end of the phone. Along with this, any updates to the iOS through iTunes and the unlock is cleared and the phone becomes locked again.

Unlocked is what we offer and this is where the IMEI number is unlocked by the network and Apple. This is PERMANENT and any update won’t affect this.

How long does a repair take?

All repairs will be done within the hour dependent on how many we have in the queue, usually quicker so quick enough to pop in on your lunch hour.

Will my SIM card fit in an iPhone?

A 4S will require a micro SIM with all models of iPhone 5 and newer requiring a nano SIM.  We have SIM cutters in house or you can order a replacement from your network provider.

When will I receive my iPhone?

We aim to have every order picked and sent out within 72 business hours of receiving it.

Can I get a deal for buying in bulk?

Of course, any order of 2 and above we can do a deal on. We are always looking for outlets to partner with so if you have a shop or outlet and want a regular supply, get in touch at orders@theioutlet.com

Can I collect?

Yes, this is fine. We have many people collect in the past.

What are my payment options?

We accept payments through the website. We accept all major credit and debit cards. If you would prefer to pay cash on collection, this is also acceptable. We are unable to accept cheques.

What about refunds and a change of mind?

You have 14 days to return the item for a change of mind. You have the warranty period to cover you for faults and 30 days in which to return the item for a refund in the event the item is faulty. After this time. any item that is faulty will be replaced or repaired.

How do I know the phone isn't stolen/blacklisted/blocked or involved in an insurance claim?

Each unit is CheckMend tested. This is a system that cross references the IMEI with police, network provider and insurance databases to ensure that is hasn’t been reported stolen, had a warranty claim against it, lost or been in an insurance claim.
